Attention Tuggeranong!
We want to know more about the joys, difficulties and needs of public schools in Tuggeranong, so we will hold our next General Meeting there - 28th of August, 7pm at Caroline Chisholm School's Centre for Innovation.
We would love for all interested Tuggeranong parents to join us and share their school experiences, views and ideas. We would encourage all Tuggeranong P&Cs to spread the word about this event within their school community. There's an event flyer, a FaceBook event and this web page so you can choose what suits.

Wifi for P&C-run canteens!
After a very drawn out process, we are thrilled to let you know that P&C-run canteens can now access Wifi for canteen use. School Business Managers have been sent information on how to request the account on behalf of the P&C, so if your canteen needs Wifi access, you can now contact the Business Manager at your school to arrange it (refer them to the School Bulletin, 26 June, if there is any problem).

Changes to the school bus network
Transport Canberra have announced a new public transport network for 2019 which includes many fewer dedicated school buses than we currently have. The expectation is that students at schools without a dedicated school bus service will use regular route services.
Council would encourage all parents to look at the new network and provide feedback to the ACT Government during the consultation period. You can view the proposed services for each school. Feedback can be provided via the YourSay website and there will also be regional 'road shows' which you can attend to find out more and provide feedback.
Council is preparing a submission on the changes and would also like to hear how your school and community will be affected (please email).
