P&Cs need to know...

Parking and speeding around your school

At our last General Meeting the poor behaviour of some drivers and the need for more speed and parking enforcement was a big topic. We have compiled a list of difficulties and areas where enforcement is needed from those schools represented at the meeting. If illegal parking and speeding is a problem at your school, but your weren't at our August Meeting, feel free to email us your concerns and we can add your school to the list, which we will pass on to the ACT Government for action.

Spring into active transport!

The start of warmer weather is a great time to take up walking to school - or part of the way - a few days a week. And more people walking reduces traffic pressures around our schools.

An Active Travel Toolkit has been produced by Transport Canberra to help P&Cs and school to promote active travel, road safety and safe driving behaviours around schools.

The resources include brochures, posters, videos, fact sheets, images and newsletter content - all available for you to download and share.
