AGM how to
Our Information Sheet will help you breeze through your AGM and the regulatory requirements associated with it. The AGM is a great chance to highlight the P&C’s achievements over the past 12 months and showcase the value you add to the school (use our template for a quick President's Report). We also have templates here for
- AGM agenda and minutes
- Committee Report (this forms part of the treasurer's financial report)
- Nomination and Declaration form for your new committee members.
The use of all these is outlined in the Information Sheet.

Lobbying update - buses
We are hopeful that the newly announced bus network update (to start in term 2, timetables not yet available) will address many of the difficulties and issues which Council took to Transport Canberra on behalf of parents. We are very pleased to see that our recommendation that peak-level services (eg frequency) be applied from 3-4pm has been adopted, at least for the tram, and we await timetable details for buses!

Election priority - School improvements
The ACT Government has listed all the upgrades made to school infrastructure recently. If your school is on the list, we'd love to know what you think of the works that have occurred. One of our priorities for the upcoming ACT election is for further school improvements, so we'd also love to hear from you if you think your school is in need of a similar upgrade. Please email with your thoughts!
