Stack Emissions Proficiency Testing Scheme Now Open for Enrolment

Effectech will be running the second round of the Stack Emissions Proficiency Testing Scheme (SEPTS) in May 2017 and the scheme is open for registration from now until 31 March 2017.

Participation in SEPTS ensures that Testing Houses for emissions gases in the UK and the EU comply with the ISO 17025 requirement for laboratories to assure the quality of their testing and calibration capabilities.

2016’s round had 15 participants from 13 different companies and the overall performance was very good. To find out more about 2017’s scheme, please check the EffecTech website: www.effectech.co.uk/proficiency-testing-schemes-GGLNG-SEPTS.php, or contact info@effectech.co.uk for more information.

GAIL Contract – EffecTech Ships its Biggest Order Yet

EffecTech shipped 116 cylinders, its largest single order ever in October. The 11 component and 15 component mixtures, calibrated according to EffecTech ISO 17025 scope of accreditation, were despatched to GAIL Limited, the largest state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company in India. The cylinders will be used on various locations in the GAIL network.

This delivery beats EffecTech’s previous largest order which was also for GAIL in 2013 for 103 calibration gases.

GAS Analysis 2017

EffecTech will be participating in the 9th international Gas Analysis Symposium & Exhibition (GAS Analysis 2017) which will take place in Rotterdam from 13 to 15 June 2017. GAS Analysis 2017 is a global forum covering the latest developments in gas analysis and applications in the industry. In 2015, the exhibition attracted hundreds of experts from over 30 countries.

GAS Analysis 2017

EffecTech will be on Stand 11 at the exhibition and the Business Development Director, Paul Holland, will again chair one of the symposium lecture sessions, this time on the energy supply chain.
