Suede Salon and Spa has announced its opening of an in-house Medical Spa, which will be known as Mend Aesthetics. Dr. Michael Shafran of Bucks County will bring ten years of experience as the Medical Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to the spa. Mend Aesthetics will offer the following new services such as microblading, dermaplanning and extensions, microneedling, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and micro current facials, but the list of services will continue to grow.

A Brooklyn Cosmetic Dentist desire to help others who are less fortunate has spiraled his involvement in many charities from oral care to feeding the homeless. Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein and his time spent on several dental outreaches that has served under privileged communities throughout the country, displays his genuine concern for not only the art of dentistry but also the importance of dental health.
Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein, Rich Mendoza, also known as, ‘Rich the Barber’ and Meir Kay, a positive content creator, came together to pay it forward in Union Square in downtown New York City. Little did they know that they would make such a profound impact after providing basic dental care, a haircut, food, and a job to one young individual! Beau Institute Celebrates its Seventh Annual Day of Hope!

Beau Institute held its seventh annual Day of Hope on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. During the Day of Hope, Beau Institute celebrated breast cancer survivors by providing complimentary 3-dimensional areola/nipple tattoos for those in need following mastectomies. Beau Institute hopes to continue to empower and celebrate the ladies in pink who have battled breast cancer during Day of Hope! The day was filled with laughs, tears, and celebration. We are so grateful for all those who came out to support the ladies in pink!

The 11th annual PAWS Mutt Strut was held on Saturday, October 14 at The Navy Yard. Together, PAWS raised an incredible $115,000 for homeless animals throughout the Philadelphia region. Nine PAWS dogs were also adopted at the Mutt Strut with applications to adopt continuing to roll in!
Kicked off by the Mummers, tons of animal lovers enjoyed a scenic walk, while enjoying dozens of vendors and activities, including a dog agility course and "Ask the Trainer" with Opportunity Barks, canine lure course, costume and talent contests, "Ask the Vet" with Penn Vet, delicious food, pet caricatures, pet photos with Shutterbooth, paw printing painting, raffles, and more.
Proceeds from Mutt Strut will fund PAWS' lifesaving efforts and enable PAWS to continue to rescue and serve more of Philadelphia's neediest pets!
