CRAFT PHILA LIBERTY BELL FAIRS
Dozens of vendors came to showcase their USA handmade crafts in view of Independence Hall! Though blue skies did not prevail for CRAFT PHILA’s Spring Fair on May 21 and 22, the free admission event got ‘likes’ galore from fair-going patrons, and lots of terrific press! Dozens of master and hipster artisans displayed their awe-inspiring wares and Philly-centric specialties just steps from the historic Liberty Bell at this 5th show & sale. BEHOLD hammocks represented by their inventor were a fair favorite! Free mosaic make & takes, and live jazz kept the smiles coming!
Soft pretzels, freebies, and hourly raffles for donated prizes that included tickets and gift certificates to nearby attractions, museums and restaurants were a huge hit! Loom weaving demonstrations, a massage station, and food trucks joined in the fun that attracted a local to global crowd.
CRAFT PHILA is poised showcase their next USA HandMade Craft, Art & Fashion on September 17-18, 2016 and will feature an expanded footprint, and other exciting surprises! Artisans are invited to apply online for Fair #6 at http://www.craftphila.org/apply.html
