Hair O' The Dog Donates $14,000 to
Bianca's Kids

Hair O' The Dog hosted the annual Sponsor Appreciation Event on March 15, 2017, inside The Foundry at The Fillmore. During the annual event, Metrospect Events Inc., presented a check to Bianca's Kids for $14,000, which was raised during the epic Hair O' The Dog event that took place in January. In addition to viewing a check presentation ceremony, sponsors and attendees were treated to libations, a gourmet buffet by Wolfgang Puck Catering, and music by DJ Hollywood.

The Fairmount @ Brewerytown Gives Back to Habitat for Humanity

Volunteers and staff from the Fairmount @ Brewerytown loaded a 26-foot truck full of building materials as a donation to the Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia ReStore. The ReStore is Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s discounted home goods store, with proceeds supporting Habitat’s efforts to build and repair homes across Philadelphia for families in need of decent, affordable housing.

The Young and the Blind with Beau Institute

The Beau Institute takes pride in giving back and restoring hope and confidence in the individuals that walk through their door.
Rose Marie, founder of The Beau Institute has recently performed a touch-up microblading procedure to a 36-year old young woman who isn't letting her failing eye sight affect her day to day life. Shireen Dastis learned that she suffered from RP (A regenerative eye disease) when she was 18. Since then, she stopped driving at 22, and stopped reading at 31. Permanent makeup helps her get out of bed each morning looking perfect. She gets her eyebrows, and eyeliner done at The Beau Institute and feels more positive in large part to Rose Marie and her microblading expertise!

The Positivity Charge Retreat Returned
to Build and Fuel Your Mind-Body

On Saturday, March 25, Parisha Smith and Dr. Rubina Tahir held The Positivity Charge Retreat for the second time. The event was held at the Ethical Society of Philadelphia, and brought together like-minded individuals to cultivate healthier communities, and to better health and wellness initiatives. The Positivity Charge retreat provided tools that allowed individuals to fill up their positivity in areas of health, wellness, food, creativity and business.
The retreat took place from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and began with a group workout with celebrity fitness guru, Tania "the machine" Baron. She mixed Insanity Live and CIZE Live for a workout! Attendees were then given the opportunity to choose from three different workshops which were led by Anita Oh, Tia Johnson, and Jessica Deluise. The workshops provided were crafted to spark insight into the retreat’s signature theme of BUILD, FUEL and BODY, so that you can continue to make progress in all areas of your life.
