4th of July Celebrate America Concert with Tim McGraw

2nd Annual Unmasking the Legacy
The 2nd Annual Unmasking the Legacy will highlight the 2016 Man and Woman of the Year honorees. Champagne sponsor Luc Belaire will accompany all VIP tables and the guest with the best mask will win a prize! Hunt Auctions Press Tour in California
Hunt Auctions, the official auction company of All-Star FanFest ® will present the 12th Annual Live Auction at All-Star FanFest ® during the Major League Baseball ® All-Star Game ® events in San Diego, from July 8th to 12th. This week, along with our very own Jennifer Sherlock, David Hunt did a press tour to get ready for the auction. Hunt Auctions had coverage on NBC Sports Radio, ABC7 LA, ESPN Radio, CW6, ABC10, KUSI, the Dodgers Pre-Show and many more!
Some of the items include a Sandy Koufax jersey, Jackie Robinson bat and special items from the Tony Gwynn collection. This year, a portion of the auction proceeds from the Gwynn collection items will go to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation. The main focus of T.A.G. Foundation is to help assist specific programs that enhance the opportunity for children to become healthy, educated, emotionally stable, productive citizens by providing the best quality education and housing opportunities available.

Ken Dunek Honored by the Durand Foundation
On Friday, June 10th, The Durand Foundation honored Ken Dunek with the Durand Outstanding Community Service Award at the Double Nickel Brewing Company in New Jersey. Ken Dunek is a major contributor to his community and has used his platform to help others. He offered financial support and personally attended events that cater to helping those in need. He also donated free publicity in his JerseyMan and PhillyMan magazines' "Out & About" section to feature photos from events in the community that have meaningful causes. Ken Dunek was on CSB radio with Brad Segall this week discussing being honored by the Durand Foundation, giving the award to his wife, and what's to come for JerseyMan/PhillyMan magazine. The interview airs on Sunday.

The USO, in partnership with international fashion designer Sherri Hill, hosted this year's 8th Annual Operation That’s My Dress (OTMD) event in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area at the Hotel Mount Laurel in Mount Laurel, New Jersey on June 29th and 30th. OTMD gave military teens ages 13-19, as well as military spouses and service members, the chance to pick out a brand new gown or cocktail dress. OTMD received over a thousand dresses from designers such as Anne Taylor, Ralph Lauren and, of course, Sherri Hill.
The 8th Annual Operation That’s My Dress experience was just one of the many ways the USO connected service members and their families to their family, home and country. Not only was this event a dress giveaway, but it also allowed for family fun, entertainment, celebrity meet and greets and hair and accessory giveaways at The Beauty Bar. ManeStreem came out and partnered with the Women's Opportunity Center on June 21st to help women gain economic self-sufficiency through their professional beauty prep. This event was extremely successful and provided displaced homemakers with hair and makeup lessons that helped them prepare for future job interviews. Additionally, ManeStreem hired an on sight photographer to take professional head shots of the women after their beauty tutorials! The women now feel more confident and professional when they are faced with business interactions. Burlington County Times captured the event in this article.

Jenna is an incoming senior at the University of Rhode Island and is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in General Business. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but was raised in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. As the past Vice President of Philanthropy of the Delta Zeta Sorority at Rhode Island, Jenna spends majority of her time working and spending time with her sorority. She has held two other Public Relations internships at Raskin Resources, and Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP this past year.
