Cathryn Sophia won the prestigious grade 1 Kentucky Oaks at historic Churchill Downs this past May. The princess of Sylmar Stakes is a prep race for the $1 million dollar grade 1 Cotillion Stakes to be run on September 24 on Pennsylvania Derby Day. The Cotillion will feature a matchup between Cathryn Sophia and the undefeated Songbird.

Also, don't forget to join Parx Racing on Labor Day for the $300,000 G3 Smarty Jones Stakes. A prep race for the $1 million dollar Pennsylvania Derby. The Ozzie and Krausey Show

The Ozzie and Krausey Show on 610AM ESPN Sports Radio will have its last summer show at The Windrift this Thursday night from 7-9 p.m. in Avalon, NJ.

We want to wish congratulations to The Philadelphia Soul for winning the Arena Bowl XXIX!  This shot was taken in the City Hall Courtyard at noontime today as the team held a celebration rally.

The 2nd Annual Unmasking the Legacy will highlight the 2016 Man and Woman of the Year honorees. The annual Dance on the East Falls Bridge event takes place Saturday, September 17, and the rain date is scheduled for September 24. All guests can expect to indulge in a night of great music, eating, and wine at this historic location. Dance the night away to the beats from The Sofa Kings on the nostalgic bridge with 
free flowing beer provided by Dock Street Brewery, and wine provided by Chaddsford Winery. Philadelphia and Federal Distilling will also have liquor tastings.  Join us for a memorable night that will also benefit a great cause.  This event is a fundraiser hosted by and for the East Falls Development Corporation, a non-profit dedicated to community-based economic development for the benefit of East Falls.

PAWS on Passyunk

Woof! Come out for a four-legged fashion show on Sunday September 18. Bring your pups all dressed up for a chance to win prizes.  There will be food, drinks, music, and raffle prizes!  Proceeds to benefit PAWS.  

On Wednesday, October 26, Beau Institute hosts an annual special day called Day of Hope. The Beau Day of Hope is designed to empower breast cancer survivors and to inspire hope in a community of support. On this day, complimentary areola nipple tattooing is donated to those in need of this procedure following a mastectomy. Together, the Beau Institute and its followers, participants and volunteers can make a difference in the lives of thousands of women across the country.
