Hair O' The Dog celebrated its 25th anniversary in style and retained its status as one of Philadelphia's best events. This year, proceeds from the event were donated to the Morris Animal Refuge, America's first animal shelter. The philanthropic event was honored this year with an official mayoral citation, presented by Sheila Hess, City Representative. The citation commemorated the years of hard work and dedication by Founders, Dan Cronin and Rob Molinaro, along with Event Director, Buffy Harakidas. The galactic "out of this world" theme gave party goers an experience unlike any other previous years. Mina "SayWhat" Llona, official Emcee of the event, kicked the party off in style. Featured artists, T-Pain and Party Favor, pumped up the crowd with their energetic DJ sets. Party pooches didn't go hungry or thirsty with food and drink available at every corner. The ambiance of elegance throughout the venue made it is safe to say this year's event exceeded all expectations. The night didn't end at the Crystal Tea Room though! Stats on 17th, the official after-party sponsor, kept it going until dawn. After a night like this, who knows what's in store for next year!

The Ike Foundation is a nonprofit that aims to provide youths with the opportunity to learn about fishing, get outdoors, and take a break from technology. Professional bass fisherman, Mike Iaconelli, and his wife Becky, created the foundation in 2014. Over the years the foundation has grown to help hundreds of kids every year through different events.
The Ike Foundation hosted its annual scholarship dinner on January 25th. The dinner is held each year to raise funds for five scholarships for graduating high school seniors who have a love of the outdoors and helping their local communities. The dinner included food, drinks, music, and raffle baskets.
