Hunt Auctions is Taking Florida by Storm at the MLB All-Star FanFest!
|
|
Hunt Auctions, the official auction company of All-Star FanFest®, will present the 13th Annual Live Auction at All-Star FanFest®during MLB All-Star Week events in Miami, FL, from July 7 to 11. The two day auction will culminate with the personal collection of iconic Hall of Fame member and Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder Roberto Clemente, and a prominent Midwestern collection.
The Midwestern collection was assembled over a number of years and will include numerous significant baseball items including game used baseball bats, autographed items, and high condition grade trading cards. The Clemente Collection is one of the most significant player collections to have ever been offered at public auction and has been consigned directly to the event by the Clemente family. Roberto Clemente played his entire 18 year career as right fielder with the Pittsburgh Pirates. His accolades rank among the most elite players in the history of the game collecting 3,000 career hits, .317 Lifetime batting average, (12) Gold Glove Awards, (15) NL All-Star team selection, (2) World Series Championships, 1971 World Series MVP, Elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973; and #21 retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Hunt Auctions spent some time in the Big Apple in preparation for the MLB All-Star FanFest where there will be 800 memorabilia items up for auction.
During our visit, Hunt Auctions was featured on Varney & Co. on Fox Business Network and Bloomberg Markets. We also had the chance to swing by NBC studio's for NBC Latino, New York Daily News, and Fox 5 with Roberto Clemente Jr. Thanks for being good to us, New York!

The 2nd Annual Restaurant Festival Was a Success!
The Restaurant Festival returned to Philadelphia, and was bigger and better than ever. On Thursday, June 15, guests enjoyed live entertainment and amazing food from favorite Philadelphia restaurants at the Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University. Guests were able to eat and drink their way through a showcase of Philadelphia's vibrant local restaurant scene - and was a foodie connoisseurs' dream! As guests indulged on hand-crafted masterpieces of culinary expertise from over 40 top local restaurants, they also enjoyed sipping more than 30 distinguished wines, craft beers, craft cocktails and spirits selections!

Rose Marie Beauchemin, founder of Beau Institute, is being honored as one of the 2017 Man and Woman of the Year nominees for Jersey Man/ Philly Man Magazine! Unmasking the Legacy celebrates extraordinary individuals like Rose Marie for the differences they make in our communities. This masquerade-themed gala recognizes each nominee and offers guests a night filled with live entertainment.
Not only does this event honor the 2017 nominees, but it also donates money from tickets purchased toward the top two honorees' respective charities! The Unmasking the Legacy gala will be a night to remember.

Allison Long is a recent Penn State graduate who studied Public Relations and International Studies. During her time at PSU, Allie was involved in the Alpha Phi Fraternity and THON - a student-run philanthropy to raise money and awareness for children with pediatric cancer. She is adept at media relations, special events coordination, issues management and community relations. She even helped run a Social Media/Public Relations Campaign for Philly Fever! Welcome to the team, Allie - we hope you enjoy your summer with us!
Public Relations Account Representative, Erica Watkins, took a trip down to the #JennaComm's beach house with interns, Audrey Hartman and Allison Long. Laying pool side was the best medicine to wind down the work week.
