Okay reader, POP QUIZ! Just kidding, there's no quiz, but I do have a question for you. What have you been doing with your time over the last several weeks of quarantine? Have you been staying busy with school work, or maybe spending a lot of your time with those home projects you haven't had a chance to get to until now? What about your spiritual life? How have you been spending your time there? As I was going through my bible app, I came across this image and it really made me think about how I've been using my time lately. Sometimes, in moments like the ones we are living through now, it's not always easy to be hopeful or patient. There are even moments when prayer might seem more like a chore than a lifeline. I've definitely been there. But my desire for you today is that, just like Romans 12 says, you would find a way to rejoice in the hope that better days are coming, that you would be patient as we continue to push through this pandemic, and that in the midst of it all, you would position yourself in a place of constant prayer. I know it may seem difficult right now, but you can do it. You know what? Let's do it together. Let's commit to rejoicing, and being hopeful, patient, and prayerful in the days ahead!

 SUMMER 2020

"BEYOND"

As we announced last week, we will be relaunching our Summer Camp 2020 registration tomorrow, May 14th at 8 am! Our highest concern and priority is always the health, well-being, and safety of each individual that is part of our camp program. The registration process will be two-phased in light of new information that comes our way. Phase one will consist of simply getting individual campers registered. During this phase, no finances/payments will be collected. Phase two will consist of those campers choosing their activities, as well as the processing of payments.

Our new, projected dates are as follows:
  • July 15-19: Family Camp
  • July 19-26: Youth Camp 1 (ages 9-17)
  • July 26-Aug. 2: Youth Camp 2 (ages 9-17)

As we receive information from our county and state, we will continue to keep you updated. Please know that we are committed to to providing the best summer experience we can for our all of our Illinois Youth and Young Adults. Thank you for your patience, prayers, and support during these ever-changing times!
