Future of MACKPlan

The Borough Council has given Milton Abbot a target of at least 20 new homes. If you would like to influence where they go, what they look like and other features of any development, read on and put 7.30 to 8.00 pm Wednesday the 5th September at Milton Abbot village hall in your diary.

MACKPlan has now reached the point where the team is ready to invite landowners to put forward proposals for the development of various sites.  The most important of these are in Milton Abbot. However, the MACKPlan team has not been able to attract Milton Abbot village residents to join it and help influence what development takes place.

After playing a major role in the work done by the MACKPlan team so far, Howard Asbridge has resigned from the team, as he believes strongly that it is necessary for it to be led by a Milton Abbot resident, who would be better able to obtain local support for development in the village.

For MACKPlan to continue, new membership is vital.  If you are at all interested in joining the team, please come to Milton Abbot village hall between 7.30 and 8.00 pm on Wednesday 5th September, when you will be able to meet team members and find out more.  If you are interested but unable to attend, please email the Chair of the Parish Council
