SOD that is orally bioavailable from GliSODin and the link to longevity
Humans produce an average of 90 micrograms per millilitre (mcg/ml) of Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD) and live an average of nearly 80 years.
Chimpanzees, produce 40 mcg/ml of SOD and on average, live 40 years.
Fruit flies have been genetically engineered to double their normal SOD levels and research has shown these flies live twice as long as ordinary fruit flies.
Research strongly suggests that SOD is a primary determinant of longevity in mammals.

GliSODin®provides a safe, effective and unique strategy for enhancing natural cellular defences which are known to decline during illness or with ageing. Clinical trials show that GliSODin® promotes health and wellbeing by boosting circulating levels of antioxidant defences and helping reduce oxidative damage.
