Meet Dr. Jérémy Bouyer (CIRAD / INRA Control of Exotic and Emerging Diseases, Montpellier, France) speaking at ISNTD Bites: "At ISNTD Bites, I would like to present a new ERC research project entitled 'Revolutionizing Insect Control' where I propose to use sterile males as specific conveyors of biocides to their wild female counterparts to boost the sterile insect technique. I am looking forward to find industrial partners to participate to this project, that has the potential to change the current paradigm of insect control based on the use of insecticides."

Meet Dr. Jutta Reinhard-Rupp (Merck), speaking at ISNTD Coinfections: "At ISNTD Coinfections, I will be speaking about Female Genital Schistosomiasis (FGS), a forgotten gynecological disease till now.
The consequences of FGS are not widely acknowledged or understood, and may have strong implications on susceptibility to other infections, particularly HIV/AIDS. Currently, there is no treatment for FGS - we would like to see greater collaboration and coordination across these fields."
