Second Fridays on The Commons
Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and gather on The Commons from 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, July 8 for live music, friends, and fun. This month, Second Fridays will be hosting a vintage car show, featuring cars from the 1940s through the 70s. Food will be available for purchase. For more information, contact Jeff Ross.
Job Networking

Caregivers Support Group
The Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group meets via Zoom on the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. The next meeting is Wednesday, July 13. Please contact Toni Fagan for more information or to receive a link to the meeting. 
Christmas in July
On Saturday, July 23, stop by the Dodson Youth Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to check out crafts and gift items from more than 40 vendors! All proceeds benefit Friends of Divine Providence Training Center. For more information, visit the Friends of Divine Providence website.
Men's Breakfast
The monthly Men’s Breakfast will be off for July, but we will reconvene on Thursday, August 4. We look forward to seeing you then! For more information, contact Kevin Barre.
Emergency Response Team
Volunteers with medical training as RN, BSM, PA, EMT, or MD are needed for the Sunday Emergency Response Team. Flexible assignments for Sunday morning worship services are available and based on weekly availability. For more information, email JoAn Hobbs or call 770.261.1731.
Summer Grocery Program
The Summer Grocery Program will be off on Monday, July 4 for Independence Day and will resume on Mondays starting July 11 at The Porch. Donations can be dropped off at The Porch on Sundays 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or Mondays 12-4 p.m. Our biggest needs are cereal, 1 lb. dry spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, and laundry detergent. Mighty Mentes/Mentors
Roswell UMC is supporting Vickery Mill Elementary and Centennial High School by mentoring at-risk students through Mighty Mentes (Vickery Mill Elementary School) and Mighty Mentors (Centennial High School). Explore Story Hour
Explore Story Hour will not meet this Tuesday, July 5, but all preschoolers and their parents are invited to join us again on Tuesdays in July starting July 12 at 9:30 a.m. in room 169, Sanctuary building for a story, craft, and a snack. Serving Through Worship Arts Camp
Register your rising 1st - 5th grader for a week of learning and fun at Serving through Worship Arts Camp July 11-15, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Registration is free, and snacks will be provided. Kids will enjoy working on art projects and rehearsing for a short musical or taking a ‘behind the scenes’ production class. Parents' Morning Out
Parents’ Morning Out has openings available for the upcoming school year for children ages three months through 18 months old. Additional days are available for children under the age of three who are currently enrolled or on a waitlist for RUMCK. More information can be found on our website.
