Introducing Summer Student Ministry Interns

Every summer, we have the opportunity to welcome some amazing young adults as interns for our student ministry. They are involved in all aspects of what we do—from planning, to programming, to forming long-term relationships with our students, to helping them in their walk with Christ. Many of them have even gone on to full-time ministry like Anne Kramer Henry, Emily Eidson, and our very own Tripp Anderson, to name a few.

This summer, our interns will get a chance to attend mission trips to Louisiana and Gatlinburg, summer camp in South Carolina, and much more. Their hours vary from 15 to 30 hours per week, depending on what's going on.

I'm proud to announce our group of interns for this summer:
  • Adelaide Leochl, a sophomore at the University of Georgia: She will be focusing on logistics and administrative assistance.
  • Noah Schuette, a sophomore at GCSU: Noah will be helping with our discipleship ministry and keeping the Dod in order.
  • Ferdi Waraigu is a friend of ours from Kenya: He served as a summer intern in 2018 and is returning this summer to do it again. His father, Francis, is a board member for Divine Providence Training Center. Ferdi will be helping us with worship and preparations for Confirmation in the Fall.
  • Kate Weir, also a sophomore at the University of Georgia: Kate will be working with our communications and outreach ministries.
If you see the interns around, make sure you introduce yourselves and tell them how much you appreciate their service this summer. We are proud to have them and look forward to what God is going to do though them.
We will be holding in-person worship services led by Dr. Tom Davis at 9 and 11:15 a.m. this Sunday. A digital bulletin will be available at

It’s only with continued generosity to the annual Mother’s Day Offering that 75% of Wesley Woods’ seniors can stay in what has become their home. We pray that with your help in 2022, we can provide appropriate care for all in need. For checks and cash, please mention "Wesley Woods" in the memo line or envelope. Give online on our giving page and select Wesley Woods from the dropdown menu.
