Engineering professors collaborate with Wellstar to decontaminate N95 respirator masks
Faced with a shortage of N95 respirator masks amidst the coronavirus pandemic, a team of KSU engineers assisted Wellstar Health System nurse leaders, operations, facility engineering, sterile processing and a project manager in developing an operational plan for their newly built UVGI room to decontaminate masks for reuse.  READ MORE

KSU alums help create COVID-19 tests
Rebekah Henneborn, Mary Katherine Grimes and Kristina Palermino-Rowland, recently started working at Ipsum Diagnostics in Sandy Springs, an anatomical and clinical pathology laboratory that has an emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration to produce tests for the novel coronavirus.

The new fund provides financial support specifically to keep KSU students in school and on the path toward earning their degrees.
