Our journey with SCEE

Southern Cross Educational Enterprises(SCEE) now owns and operates SouthEast Home Education (SEHE), with Greg and April Simon still at the helm, running things from the SCEE office.

For us, we see this as a wonderful development and opportunity to serve our families better than ever.
For SCEE, this is their way of expanding their ministry to homeschoolers.
For our families, this represents a secure, long-term commitment that will outlive Greg and April and ensure that ACE and SCEE products will be available for generations to come.

It isn't always clear where one's path leads - this is where faith comes in. However, it's when you look back that you can see God's hand at work.

Proverbs 16:9 says: "A man's heart devises his way: but the Lord directs his steps."

For all our plans, and all the times we think we're going the wrong way or the right way or we just don't know which way, it's when we look back and see how this led to this and this led to that, and we can appreciate how wonderful and infinitely wise God is - not to mention merciful and patient - when dealing with His people.
We trust you will also look back and marvel at how wonderful are His ways, then look forward with confidence.

God bless your homeschooling journey.
Readmaster Plus
Readmaster Plus is an educational software suite that enhances students’ educational experiences while challenging their learning. Students are encouraged because they see and experience tangible results.
Readmaster Plus offers four distinct computer software programs.
Readmaster offers computerized reading programs for all levels to improve reading rate and comprehension for Levels 1-12. It is designed to increase a student's reading speed and develop their vocabulary and comprehension while building Godly character through values-based stories. Each of the 432 Readmaster stories (36 stories for each level) increases comprehension with a story preview and a comprehension test. The Readmaster levels align with PACE levels and begins with a diagnostic process.
Typemaster teaches computer keyboard skills. It is designed to show young students how to type and increase their computer literacy.
Math Builder provides computerized drill and practice in math concepts. It provides supplementary drill and reinforcement of basic math concepts aligned to the Math PACE levels that your student has been placed on.
Word Builder expands vocabulary skills by challenging the student to evaluate word meanings and spellings. Word Builder aligns with Word Building PACE Levels 2-8 (1013-1096).
Readmaster Plus software is fully compatible with Windows 7, 8, and Vista.

God’s Love for Us - by Erin Johnson
Convention 2015 (1st place)

The splash of the water,
The sound of the birds.
This beautiful weather,
These beautiful words.

The ripple of the wind,
The rustle of the grass.
This beautiful weather,
The colour of brass.

The swaying of the trees,
The silence of the mountains.
This beautiful weather,
The youth of fountains.

The magnificent sun,
The rejoicing chorus.
This beautiful weather,
Shows God’s love for us.
