A truly exciting year for EU-OPENSCREEN with a major achievements has come to an end. We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support and the good collaboration which made these things happen. We wish you and your families a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
The official inauguration of EU-OPENSCREEN in September was surely the highlight of 2018, and, after years of thorough preparation, we were proud to celebrate the launch of our European research infrastructure with scientific partners, and political representatives from all our member countries as well as the European Commission. To get an impression of this exciting event please have a look at our inauguration video on our website.
We are glad that the move to our temporary building has still happened before the Christmas break. We moved on Campus Buch to another building (Building 79, 2nd floor) where we have more space to accommodate the new compound management and our growing team. Please note also our new contact details which you will find in the bottom of this newsletter!
2019 will be another exciting year for us: Reconstruction of our ultimate premises, setup of our compound management facility and acquisition of the EU-OPENSCREEN compound collection will allow us to welcome scientific users and start scientific collaborations in the new year. The successful grant applications, in particular the EU-OPENSCREEN DRIVE project, and our growing team will help facilitate numerous screening and medicinal chemistry projects.
