Hello <<First Name>>!
We’ve got furry, funny little balls of fluff…some are shy and some think they’re tough.
Come to PAWS and do your part. Adopt some kittens …they’ll steal your heart!
It’s kitten season and we’ve got lots of babies to choose from! If you’ve been waiting for school to end, or summer to begin, now is the perfect time to adopt. Come visit “A League of their Own” kittens, “The Beatles,” “The Pittsburgh Pirates” and more litters of cuteness.
Kitten adoptions are just $80.00 and include:
- vaccinations
- microchipping
- combo-testing
- spaying or neutering
- complimentary exam after adoption
If you think kitten energy might be a bit much, PAWS has many beautiful cats longing for a home as well. All cats one year and older have a $5.00 adoption fee and would love to be a part of your family too.
Whatever age of feline you think suits your family best, please visit Centre County PAWS and adopt your new best friend.

Ali
After waiting many, many months for his forever family (first at the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society and then here at PAWS), Ali was adopted earlier this year. His new family recently gave us this update:
"Ali is doing great! He has adjusted well to living in my home, and he does a great job following the rules of the house. His toys are laying everywhere, so he recognizes that it's his domain and is very comfortable.
Ali and I live alone, but I have had family, friends, coworkers, and technicians come to my house on several occasions. Ali is always very sweet, and everyone who meets him loves him. I even bring him to work with me on occasion, and he is very well behaved and friendly. He loovveeesss people.
I really love him, and my life is so much happier now that he's in it!"

Lily & Devon
Lily (left, formerly Coconut Cream Pie) and Devon (formerly Pecan Pie) were adopted together on October 13, 2015. Here's what they're up to now:
"Coconut Cream and Pecan adjusted quite well to our household. We had them in our spacious bathroom for a short time and then started introducing Bella, our miniature golden doodle to them. Four days later, the kittens were released from their carrier and Bella was tethered to her leash as she thought the kittens were mobile chew toys. A couple more days of that and the transition was complete. Now, first thing in the morning when Bella is let out of her kennel, Pecan is there giving Bella kisses. Coconut Cream and Pecan love to eat, investigate whatever is at hand, and lounge. Coconut Cream, in particular, loves to chat with us. Both cats absolutely love their toys that we have provided not to mention their eight foot tall cat furniture thing. Coconut Cream and Pecan have grown and expanded into well mannered and happy cats. I couldn't be more delighted."

PAWSOME KIDS!
What kind of youngster doesn't want birthday gifts? Especially when turning 10? Katherine Spicer, that’s who!
Katherine has held birthday parties at PAWS for a few years, asking her guests to bring donations for the animals, instead of for her. This year, she decided to mark turning 10 (on April 16th) with a special celebration - raising $10,000 for our cats and dogs. Katherine and her mother created a Go-Fund Me Campaign to help in her efforts and on May 10th, with the support of hundreds of animal lovers, she reached her goal. We are thrilled with her efforts.
Way to go Katherine and Happy 10th Birthday!
