PAWS for the Latest
July 2016 News & Events from Centre County PAWS

Hi <<First Name>>!Aziza

The Kitten Days of Summer are here again! PAWS has so many adorable kittens looking for their forever homes, that we’re waiving their adoption fees for July! All PAWS kittens are microchipped, up-to-date on shots, tested for key illnesses, and spayed/neutered. Kittens also receive their first visit to a Centre County vet free. We’re able to provide the Kitten Days of Summer thanks to a very generous supporter.

This promotion applies to kittens up to one-year-old. Cats who are one year and older are PAWS' Five Dollar Felines, meaning you can welcome them into your home for just five dollars! Their is no better time than now to add a kitten (or two) to your home. Please visit us during our open hours and we hope you’ll add a new best friend to your family. (We also have wonderful dogs too!)

Ladybug and Neo, adopted from PAWS

Ladybug and Neo

After little more than one month in their forever home, these two kittens have settled in to their new surroundings nicely. Their new family writes:

"We adopted two kittens on May 29th and they are doing fantastic! In the picture are Espresso and Mocha, now named Ladybug (black and white) and Neo (grey and white). It's hard to get a picture unless they are sleeping, they are so energetic and affectionate!"

Ralph, adopted from PAWS

Ralph

Here is one spoiled PAWS' alum! Ralph (formerly Doc Koda) is living the good life. His new family wrote in to tell us:

"Ralph has quite the personality packed into a tiny little dog. He's so funny and spoiled that on walks he will ask to be carried back home so he can enjoy some sunbathing. Mom and dad happily oblige."

Volunteer Needs

PAWS is looking to add a few more weekend cat volunteers. We bring all our foster cats into the Adoption Center on the weekends, and while we're in the middle of kitten season we can end up with more than 100 cats in the building. We could use some additional hands to help care for all of them and keep their cages and rooms clean and tidy.

Click on the links below to learn more about how you can help volunteer with our cats, along with the other volunteer opportunities at PAWS.

Dog ready for birthday party

Birthday Party Animals!

Did you know that your kiddo can celebrate his/her birthday right here at the PAWS Adoption Center? That’s right! Here at PAWS, we can help you plan a fun-filled birthday bash with the ultimate party animals for any child turning 5 or more! It’s a great way for you, your child, and their friends to learn more about the homeless animals waiting to be adopted, as well what it takes for PAWS to operate on a day-to-day basis.

You can read more about arranging a birthday party at PAWS on our website.

We hope your child will choose to spend his/her special day with us at PAWS! Not only will he/she be helping local homeless cats and dogs, but it also will be a tail-wagging good time for all!
