Friday, October 2nd, 6:30pm: Autumn Firepit Night
Come and celebrate fall with PAWS at our firepit. Meet new and old PAWS friends! Dress warmly and bring a blanket we'll have some warmed cider!

How would you like to spend a week in Provincetown, MA? Enjoy a gourmet dinner for you and several friends? These are just two of our live auction items available to bid on at The 10th Annual Fur Ball. The event will be held on Saturday October 24 at Centre Hills Country Club in State College PA. Tickets are $125 per person and include an open bar and reception from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., followed by a delicious dinner. Our live auction is coming together and features unique jewelry, a sailing trip for 4 around Buzzards Bay, an incredible PSU Sports package, tickets to PSU vs Michigan and more!

We Met Our Best Friend in August
65 cats were successfully adopted in August, bringing the year total to 384 placements
42 dogs were successfully adopted in August, bringing the year total to 210 placements
Pet Adoption Updates!
We love getting updates from our Alumni. There's nothing more heartwarming than seeing former PAWS animals thriving in their forever homes! Here are some of our favorite updates.

Jenny finally went to her forever home Tuesday after spending just shy of four years at PAWS! During her time at PAWS, Jenny was one of our most loved dogs. She is incredibly well trained, but still had to wait for a very particular home. No more waiting for Jenny! (Pictured saying good-bye to her foster mom!)

Cheddar crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past month from complications related to lymphoma.
His wonderful family who let him be himself to the end checked in with PAWS right before he passed to say, "Cheddar was the most amazing, wonderful cat, despite what my bank account would say. I can't begin to tell you how much we are going to miss him."
