Eastern Volunteers Community of Practice for the Volunteer Sector
Eastern Volunteers have launched a free volunteering sector Community of Practice to strengthen the capacity of in Yarra Ranges, Whitehorse and Maroondah. 
IEPCP Social Inclusion Forum
The Inner East Primary Care Partnership presents a Forum on Social Inclusion on Wednesday June 19 to discuss what makes for an inclusive society and how we can foster social inclusion within in the inner east.

IEPCP Physical Activities for the Over Sixties Forum
The Inner East Primary Care Partnership together with the Eastern Region Local Government Healthy Ageing Network presents a Physical Activities for the Over Sixties Forum on Thursday 4th July to motivate and support the over 60’s to be more active.

Brotherhood of St Laurence Capacity Building Hub
The Capacity Building Online Hub aims to help you identify tools and techniques that can support your organisation to build its capacity in areas such as program design, planning, and monitoring and evaluation.
Funding Opportunities
2019-20 Men's Shed funding provides up to $882,000 for grants that can be used to build new men’s sheds or to refurbish existing men’s sheds. Eligible men’s shed groups can apply for a grant of up to $80,000.

Community Grants Brighter Futures funding for education initiatives or to create jobs for those in need, or improve financial wellbeing and affordability for Australians.

NDIS Grants NDIS Readiness grants fund one or more of:
  • Increasing the capacity and capability of the NDIS workforce 
  • Increasing market presence and strengthening NDIS service delivery models 
  • Delivering specialist and culturally-relevant services to people in areas in Victoria that are currently undersupplied.
Disability Disability Self-Help Grants
Disability self-help grants are available to assist disability self-help groups in financing general expenses, minor works and equipment. 
2019 Premier’s Volunteer Champions Awards
Do you know an amazing volunteer (or team of volunteers) who deserve public recognition of their skills, efforts, and contribution to the Victorian community? Nominate them for an award now!
The Victorian Public Healthcare Awards 
The Victorian Public Healthcare Awards recognise leading examples of quality care, service innovation and improved consumer outcomes in public health, health services and service initiatives that deliver informed and effective healthcare.
Entries open online on Thursday, 6 June and close on Thursday, 11 July.
Innovation in Ageing Challenge
Equity Trustees with the assistance of TACSI wants to fund great ideas to build capability and partnerships that help older Victorian’s live, age and die well in the place that they choose, and is providing a granting pool of $200,000 over one year to make it happen.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
June 15 marks World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD), officially recognised by the UN in 2011. Individuals and organisations worldwide will be participating in events and activities that empower, celebrate and inform older people, as a way of preventing mistreatment and harm occurring in their communities.
