Over 80 organisations committed to gender equity and women across Victoria have made a joint statement calling for State and Federal Governments to recognise the gendered impacts of COVID-19.
Free Psychosocial Capability Training
Expressions of interest for future Mental Health Victoria’s psychosocial capability training are now open after the initial training sessions were booked out. This training is being developed as part of the project with Mental Health Victoria. Limited places are open to Victorian support workers and support coordinators that currently provide supports to NDIS participants with psychosocial disability, and their supervisors. Any worker, supervisor or organisation can apply, including sole traders.

Melbourne University: Work and Care in the time of Covid 19
Melbourne University invites participants to become part of a new research project about how work – paid and unpaid - is changing due to the social and economic disruptions caused by COVID-19/Coronavirus. They are interested in how COVID-19 is affecting how men and women are managing paid work, housework and caring responsibilities for children, older people and other family members. The aim is to understand the issues and challenges faced during this period to inform research and policy.
Free Harvard University Online Course: The Health Effects of ClimateChange
By looking at air quality, nutrition, infectious diseases, and human migration, this course will show you how increases in greenhouse gases impact public health. Experts working in a variety of settings will present their recommendations for responding to these challenges.
