Letter From the Board
There are great things happening at All Kidz. As we are nearing the end of 2014 we will take a look back on how much progress we have made towards offering great opportunities for some of the state's most vulnerable children. This month we approved dance lessons for four kids, and gymnastics for a little girl. These are valuable opportunities that provide at risk children with pro-social activities, where they gain confidence, structure, and social skills.
We also hosted a family movie day at the Paramount Theater in Historic Film Row. The Paramount has been a great supporter of All Kidz and we appreciate their help in helping the children have a great experience. We had a packed house and were so happy to see all of the kids laughing and relaxing while bonding with their peers and caregivers. It was also an opportunity for children living in temporary situations, such as local youth shelters, to get out in the community for a day. What a great end to fall break!
This is all possible because of donations made by caring people who want to help enrich the lives of children involved in the child welfare system. We are constantly amazed at the generosity of our donors! And we would like to send a big thanks to everyone who came out for the fundraising night at Buffalo Wild Wings in September.
