On May 22, we started 'To Our Winged Travellers' campaign at G-Tower in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea that is an interactive public art project for anyone to be able to take part in by writing a cheerful message on a bird-shaped note or via a submission formonline, wishing migratory waterbirds a safe journey on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
Thanks to active participation, over 500 messages were collected for the last two months via online and from the collection point. Each message note was connected by a fishing line and then was hung in a shape of the flock of flying birds. You can find how EAAFP staff reached five metre high HERE.
We are looking forward to a perfect place to display those messages gathered from all over the world. Please kindly contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you, your organisation, or your visitor centre has a place to display and encourage more people to join this campaign. Be part of our interactive art installation and make people fully aware of the current situation that migratory waterbirds are facing to.
