Webinar

On 13th December, from 10:00am to 12:00pm CET, EUD will be holding a webinar on "One of the key principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights: Gender Equality" to mark its 5th anniversary. As EUD is determined to continue to advance gender equality, tackling multiple and intersecting discrimination for deaf women, this webinar aims to inform deaf women about the efforts at the EU level to combat gender inequality and consult the advocates for deaf women's rights on how the rights of deaf women should be better mainstreamed in EU level legislation and initiatives.

JUSTISIGNS2

The JUSTISIGNS2 Consortium is currently in the project's final months. It is, therefore, the opportunity to organise not one but two events on the same day: 8 December.

In the morning, the JUSTISIGNS2 partners will hold a two-hour masterclass to share best practices for interpreters, whether students or experienced, deaf or hearing. It will be a great opportunity since representatives from Heriot Watt University, Trinity College Dublin, University of Vigo, and Dublin Rape Crisis Centre will present the masterclass.

In the afternoon, we will release the results of JUSTISIGNS2 research with different audiences, including policymakers, and discuss the impact on deaf communities and strategies to continue the work of advocacy.

Your presence will undoubtedly enrich the exchanges and make the situation of people with disabilities more visible in the European Union.

Feel free to share around you !
