Össur Mobility Clinic 

Össur presents a 2-day Mobility Clinic designed for amputees of all ages and activity levels for a truly unique experience where attendees will improve their overall mobility while connecting with other amputees. Join us and learn:
  • Techniques to maximise prosthetic capabilities
  • Leg-over-leg running mechanics
  • Proper methods for improving speed and balance
  • How to move in multiple directions for a variety of recreational activities

National Limbs 4 Life Peer Support Training

If you plan on coming to the LIMB-itless Conference, why not join us on the day before and part take in our Peer Support Training session. The training will be run on 29th of April from 10am - 4.30pm.

Limbs 4 Life is seeking to recruit Peer Support Volunteers to support the growing number of amputees in Australia. Volunteering is a great way to ‘give back’ to your community and use the skills that you have learnt to help someone else.

The Nine Network is developing a new documentary series and are looking for people who want to achieve a personal goal by February 2017.

Goals can take on a range of forms, from completing a physical transformation, to reaching a personal ambition to overcoming a medical or physical obstacle and anything in between. If that’s you, then Nine Network would love to hear from you!

LIMB-itless Conference Funding Assistance

Do you want to attend the LIMB-itless National Amputee Conference?

If you are on the Disability Pension, Aged Pension or hold a Healthcare Card, funding support is available to attend the conference.  Funding assistance can be provided to interstate, rural and regional and locally based amputees and/or family members.

Online Amputee Survey - 'Balance and lower back pain in lower limb amputees'

The University of Leeds is carrying out a number of research projects aimed at improving the design and function of prosthetic legs. Part of this work is about improving balance, confidence and reducing lower back pain.

The researchers are keen to gain a better understanding of the effect these have on the everyday lives of prosthetic leg users and welcome your participation in this online survey.

Amputee Golf Australia

The Australian Amputee Golf Open is being held at the Sandhurst Club from the 4th – 8th April 2016.

Entries are open to all ages and gender and are not restricted to elite golfers, in fact the organisers encourage all golfers irrespective of their ability to enter.

Watch 'The Present' video

This incredible cute animation titled ‘The Present’ is the story of a boy given a puppy who has a missing leg. This short story is adored by children and adults alike, with a great message and amazing ending.  It's no wonder this video has received over 50 awards across the world.

Each month the 'Jolly Hoppers' group host a lunch for amputees, partners, carers and friends.  The group meet at The Hotel Enfield on Hampstead Road in Enfield.
