Why are we so blessed? Annie is in progress, with an amazing group of 28 students, as well as our Salt+Light outreach group and fall acting & ballet classes.

Annie update: After a fun-filled Audition workshop week, the Castlist was posted and rehearsals began today. This show is already promising to be full of laughs with lots of heart - a great pick-me-up as the holiday season comes around the corner. Performances are Nov. 21 & 22 and tickets will go on sale on Nov. 1! One way to help support A Work in Progress (and ANNIE) as we continue on our journey of becoming a Non-Profit Compan y is to be a part of our Annie Ad Drive. Participants will be featured in the program for Annie, and you can be sure that the proceeds go directly back into ensuring that all students are able to participate in the arts, regardless of household income and budget restraints. Our Acting and Ballet classes began this week, and both are filled with enthusiastic young students. There will be a small presentation on Oct. 21 if you want to check out what the students do in these classes. There's still room in our Spring classes, but they tend to fill quickly, so be sure to register soon!

Our Advanced Acting class begins in January, with a staged reading of "Our Town" planned. This is a wonderful classic, and a nice short class to take the edge off of the January blues. "Intro to Film" is also being offered in the second half of the semester, where students can explore film making -- recommended even for students who have already taken the class. Grab your spot in class early!
