I hope everyone is having a good spring. In NC it seems like it is pollen season and that means that the spring housing market is ready to take off. There are lots of buyers hungry to buy, so we need homes to sell. The most recent statistics we have are from February and there are a few interesting things to note:
- The number of new listings for sale are down 20.8%
- The number of closed sales are down 8.75
- The median sales price is up 5.4%
- There is still just 1.4 months of inventory on the market.
We don't have the March statistics yet to publish, but things have picked up a little, but still not at the pace we were at last year. If you were thinking of selling now would be great because there is so little competition so reach out to us today.
We have two great local events happening in April. The Hickory Hops Craft Beer & Music Festival is on Saturday April 15th and the Charity Chase Half Marathon & 5K is on Saturday April 22nd.
