Greetings,
I hope everyone had a great holiday season and is ready for a great new year. I am actually really excited about what the 2020's have in store for our area. By the end of the new decade our area will likely be even better than it is today based on the plans that are in place.
The renovations on Union Square are now done and ready to be enjoyed by all. The City of Hickory is going to continue to evolve in the 20's with the City Walk and River Walk projects getting completed, and making the city a more walkable and livable environment for residents and visitors.
The Cities of Newton and Conover have lots of great plans for making their downtowns better and have already elevated themselves in the last few years with the streetscape project in Conover and the Center Square project in Newton. Newton has really worked hard to reinvent itself with a really vibrant restaurant & shopping area downtown, and have some great plans for the future as well.
This is just a small snippet of what our area has planned for the next few years. For more information click on the links for each city to see what they have in store. Our goal in the coming years is to continue to keep you up to date on what is going on around town through our newsletter, Facebook Page and our Podcast. We will also continue to be your go to real estate company in our market with our goal of superior service to our clients.
It is not just our area that has us excited for the next decade. We are really proud of how we have grown since we started in 2010. When Kathleen and I started the company we could not have imagined how we have gone from the two of us working out of our home office to renting space with our friends in the Old Hickory Granary, to buying our current office in 2013, We have grown our agent count to 28 agents and our market share to being the top non-franchise firm in our area.
We plan to continue on our growth path in to 2020's and hope that you will continue along for the ride. As we head into the next decade we are grateful for where we are and we are excited to where we are headed.
