2015 Employee Engagement Surveys

Many buzz words are used for this tool – Opinion surveys, Engagement surveys or Satisfaction surveys. The point being: “Engage your employees in your business” by asking them their opinions. Drive your business to success by creating an engaged workforce.

The employees are engaged and appreciative of your reaching out to them for their feedback and help. Chantal Mariotti, ECG’s Founder & Principal has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the “Lycee International de Los Angeles” (LILA). 

LILA is an international, preschool through 12th-grade school committed to academic excellence in a nurturing and intimate environment that encourages personal initiative, creativity and curiosity. Students are challenged through the rigorous and well-balanced bilingual curricula of the French and International Baccalaureate institutions. The School’s goal is to develop confident, caring, and open-minded critical thinkers who will thrive in a diverse competitive world.

LILA’s Board of Trustees is the governing body of the School pursuant to the California Corporation Code.  It exercises ultimate control over all aspects of the School, providing strategic vision and fiduciary oversight.  The trustees approve the budget, plan School growth and set objectives to assure adherence to the School’s mission and to maintain its 501(c)(3) non-profit status.”

Valentine's Day CandygramsHave your HR department sell candy grams this Valentine’s Day! This is an excellent way to let employees share their appreciation for one another, while providing them something fun that offers a great break from the traditional running of the office. Show your employees you care.
Expense reports & cell phone charges. The law now requires that employers reimburse their employees who use their cell phones for work. If the employer requires the employee to use their cellular phone for work purposes, the law requires that employers pay “a reasonable percentage” of their employee’s cell phone bill Learn more about cell phone expenses.

Employee sponsored Superbowl pools are illegal. Many companies allow their employees to participate in Super Bowl pools. Whether amongst a few workers or with the entire company, many employees join with Super Bowl pools in the workplace. Unfortunately, allowing these pools to take place can create issues and should be avoided within the workplace. Read more.

Employee recognition & motivation. Happy employees make for happy clients and/or guests. The happier your employees are, the better they are going to interact with all of the clients that they encounter. Because of this, maintaining a roster of happy employees is a sound business strategy.
