The White Mountain Wildlife and Nature Center (WMNC) took a leap of faith and has acquired the
building and property next door to their existing grounds. With this venture came expenses and a lot of dreams of what this journey can provide for locals and visitors.

So a long wish list was created. A local couple, Mark and Sharon Coble, found an item on the list that they wanted to make a reality. With their generous donation we are very proud to share that the WMNC now has a weather station.

This high-tech computerized device provides live weather data from the WMNC's location at 425 S. Woodland Road in Pinetop-Lakeside. By visiting the WMNC website, you are able to see current weather conditions, including wind, precipitation, and of course temperature to name just a few. A camera also provides snapshots of outside weather conditions.

There are many ways that you too can be a part of the journey! If you can help by providing items on the WMNC wish list, would like to become a member, or if you have time to volunteer, any of these will be greatly appreciated and will help to make the WMNC an even more amazing place.

For more information please visit our website at, call 928-358-3069, or stop by our location for a visit on Tuesday or Saturdays between 9-3. We are located at 425 S. Woodland Road, Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona.
