Protest Tomorrow at 8:30AM to Stop Developers

Show developers that we will not stand by and watch our precious neighborhood green space be destroyed!

Protest to Stop Developers — Thursday, Oct. 6, 8:30–10 a.m.
(Location: NYC Housing Preservation and Development, 100 Gold St.)

  • Stop by, or stay the whole time.
  • Wear green.
  • Bring your voice, bring a friend's.
  • Make your own sign or print one of ours.

Directions by subway: 6 to Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall
Exit at Nassau and Frankfort streets. Walk east downhill along Frankfort Street to 100 Gold St.

(To exit at Nassau and Frankfort streets, if traveling downtown: Exit train, take stairs at downtown end of platform. Do not exit first turnstiles. Instead turn left, then exit turnstiles. Follow hallway. Exit left stairs to Frankfort Street.)

$10,000 Challenge Grant to Fund the Fight!

Friends of Elizabeth Street Garden received a generous challenge grant from an anonymous donor to kick-start our Fund the Fight! fundraising drive. Every donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000. Four hundred $25 contributions will get us there!

Donate Now to Save the Garden
Your gift will go twice as far toward funding banners, giant protest posters, color copies, public relations and legal advice, and other materials and services vital to our campaign to save Elizabeth Street Garden.

Fourth Annual Harvest Festival — Saturday, Oct. 22, Noon–4 p.m.

Weekly in the Garden
Community Gardening — Saturdays, 11 a.m–Noon
Vinyasa Yoga — Sundays, 11:15 a.m.–Noon
Kids' Yoga — Wednesdays, 4:30–5:30 p.m.

Garden Hours

Open daily in early fall, 11 a.m.–6 p.m., weather permitting.

Volunteers serve to keep the Garden operating year-round.
