Please Attend the LMDC Hearing Thursday and Write a Letter of Support to Save the Garden From Destruction!

We face a real threat that the Garden could be razed for development, but we can stop it with your help.

1. Attend LMDC Hearing — Thursday, Sept. 17, 4:30 – 7 p.m.
Wear GREEN. Arrive before 6 p.m. to make an impact!
Location: Borough of Manhattan Community College Fiterman Hall
245 Greenwich St., 13th Floor
(Barclay Street side entrance, two blocks north of World Trade Center) [map]

2. Take three minutes to write a letter of support using online templates.

Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC) is considering a grant to New York City Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) for an affordable housing project at Elizabeth Street Garden. LMDC will hold a public forum Thursday to hear comments regarding potential projects to be supported with federal funds.
