Ladybug Release —
Saturday, July 11, Noon
They're not just bugs, they're our friends.
Join us as we release 6,000 ladybugs into the Garden and learn how these critters are helpful to the environment and control pests. Did you know that one adult ladybug will eat more than 5,000 aphids in its year-long lifetime?
Enjoy the ladybug release, examine ladybugs with magnifying glasses and learn fun ladybug facts. All ages welcome.

Volunteer Orientation, before Ladybug Release —

Friends of Elizabeth Street Garden volunteers keep the Garden open for our community. The more volunteers there are, the more hours the Garden can be open.
Volunteering is flexible and simply involves welcoming visitors for just ONE hour at a time. Some volunteers volunteer each week, and other less frequently. Become a volunteer.

Matt Bolton in Concert
Garden visitors were treated Sunday to an unforgettable surprise performance by singer-guitarist-keyboardist-percussionist Matt Bolton. His live solo looping magically reproduces the sound, feel and energy of a complete band without prerecorded tracks. Thanks to Matt for finding the time between tour dates to play for us.
