Don't Miss Wednesday Movie Night's Season Finale: "Ratatouille"

Our fourth summer season of FREE Movie Nights in the Garden concludes with Pixar's computer-animated comedy film Ratatouille.

Movie Night: Ratatouille (2007) — Wednesday, Aug. 24, 7:30 p.m.

Remy, a resident of Paris, appreciates good food and has quite a sophisticated palate. He would love to become a chef so he can create and enjoy culinary masterpieces to his heart's delight. The only problem is, Remy is a rat. When he winds up in the sewer beneath one of Paris' finest restaurants, the rodent gourmet finds himself ideally placed to realize his dream.

Movie Nights are family-friendly events where neighbors meet with one another and have a great time. The Garden will remain open through the evening, so come, cool down, bring a blanket, picnic, cozy up and sink in!

The Weekend: Live Music Sunday

Live Music Sunday — Sunday, Aug. 28, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Our biweekly summer concert series continues. Jacque Hammond, Jafé and Justin Dean Thomas perform this weekend in the Garden.

Tai Chi Outdoors With the Chinatown YMCA —
Saturdays, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., through Aug. 27
Community Gardening — Saturdays, 10 a.m. – Noon
Vinyasa Yoga — Sundays, 11 a.m. – Noon, except Sept. 4
Kids' Yoga — Wednesdays, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Highlights: The Kookers, Our Local NYPD and Live Music

The Kookers — recycled and repurposed and presented by FABnyc — entertain Garden visitors in costumes designed by Lexy Ho-Tai.

Our Local NYPD 5th Precinct holds "Zen in Your Precinct" in the Garden.

Live Music Sunday With Maitri and Leffie Louise

Garden Hours

Open daily, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., weather permitting.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays through August, until 7:30 p.m.

Volunteers serve to keep the Garden operating year-round.
