Welcome to the first edition of e-news for 2020.

It has been a difficult start for many communities impacted by the devastating bushfires. Our hope is that they are receiving timely and effective support and that calmer weather conditions prevail over the remaining fire season.
I had hoped to have some news about the future direction of Primary Care Partnerships but we are still waiting on the outcomes of the KPMG review undertaken in late 2019.

We are pleased to welcome back Estelle Donse who will be working on the next phase of the Workforce Mutuality project.
Workforce Mutuality describes the extent to which the diversity of the workforce of an organisation or a sector reflects the actual diversity of the community.
HealthWest members have the opportunity to learn more about workforce mutuality at the Senior Executive workshop on Thursday 5 March 2020.  Greater workforce mutuality can support your organisation to have more accessible and appropriate services and generate employment opportunities for community members. Hear how workforce mutuality also makes good business sense - details and registration link available below.
I hope your 2020 is off to a good start.

Kind regards,
Gail O'Donnell

"Real Man" Voice Recording Night

Men popped by the Kindred Studios in Yarraville on 30 January to record their "Real Man" voices for the one of the last Project Momentum initiatives. Seventeen men recorded comments and statements that will be used for a last and "secret" community art project that will be launched at the upcoming Orientation Week celebrations at Vic Uni.
