Hello & welcome
On April
April was a time of highs and lows. Thanks to everyone who came out to the (packed) Cardiff and Penzance Seren launches to help me celebrate The Way the Crocodile Taught Me, https://www.serenbooks.com/productdisplay/way-crocodile-taught-me and to the organisers of Wenlock Poetry Festival for having me - a lovely festival. Here's what people have been saying about the new collection - http://www.katrinanaomi.co.uk/first-reviews. And thanks for all the kindnesses with Tim (my partner) in hospital.
Crocodiles in May
It's time to launch in London. I'm really looking forward to the London launch for my new collection at the Yorkshire Grey pub on 17 May, hoping to catch up with lots of people there, starts 7 pm https://www.facebook.com/events/203103206722445/. Here's a taster, a reading of 3 poems from the new book http://www.katrinanaomi.co.uk/category/audio. I'll also be going to Bodmin Moor Poetry Festival on the 29th - come and see if crocodiles are the true beasts of the moor! Info on all festival readings and workshops, http://www.katrinanaomi.co.uk/london-launch-festival-readings which I update regularly.
What's next?
Apart from more readings and festivals, I've been talking to the Poetry School (an interview goes live tomorrow) and am delighted to have a new 'Cornwall poem' soon to be featured in the The Missouri Review.
Thanks for reading & best wishes,.
Katrina
