Help us spring into the next 10 years!

Dear Friends,

As you know, it is a time of major transition for Calliope. Our founder, Julia O'Toole, who built this ensemble into the bright and thriving organization it has become, has handed over the artistic reigns to our new music director, Jacques Dupuis. We have reached an amazing milestone — 10 years of making music and serving the greater Boston arts community — and we have much to celebrate!

But this time of change also brings us new challenges. And to that end, we are looking for help from you, our generous and engaged audience members, supporters, and friends. I write to you today to ask you to consider making a donation to Calliope at this time, to help us through this transition and support all that we hope to accomplish in the next 10 years  and beyond. Any amount you are able to give will support us in our continued goals.

To make a donation to Calliope online, please visit the Support page on our website. You may also send a check donation (made out to "Calliope Inc.") by mail to:

Thank you in advance for your generous support. With your help, Calliope can continue to thrive and stay vibrant for many years to come!

Sincerely,
Bob Adams
Board Member, Calliope

Mission Statement

Calliope shares the joy of music through passionate collaboration between singers and instrumentalists. It is our mission that audiences benefit from collaboration between instrumentalists and singers, resulting in deeper understanding and performance of the music. We pursue this goal by:
  • Providing excellent music to the community of Greater Boston via a new, more inclusive method of rehearsal and performance
  • Capitalizing on the power of music to contribute toward social improvement via one benefit concert each season for an organization whose mission is reflected in our programming for that performance
  • Cultivating artists and their supporters for the future through our mentoring scholarship program.
