Dirty Wars: Film Screening

Wednesday, Februrary 5, 2014 | 7PM-9PM | BA1200
Join APSS for our first film screening of the year! We will be showing the recently Oscar nominated “Dirty Wars” (2013), which follows the investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill into the hidden world of America’s undercover operations, spanning from Afghanistan to Yemen, Somalia and beyond. This film has won 7 awards, including “Best Documentary” at the Warsaw International Film Festival and “Extraordinary Courage in Filmmaking” at the Little Rock Film Festival. Food and refreshments will be served. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at communications@utapss.ca.
