AI for Anti-Poaching Mobile App

Wild Me is proud to provide the machine learning models behind the new Fin Finder mobile app (iOS and Android), which is the worlds first AI-based mobile application for shark and ray fin identification to combat the illegal wildlife trade. We look forward to continuing to evolve the model coverage for this app, which currently can predict 35 different shark and ray species. The Fin Finder project is led by Conservation International, and you can learn more about Fin Finder here.
Over 15,000 shark fin photos were used to create the Fin Finder machine learning models.
