PRE - CAMP INFORMATION
Sacred Life Teen Camp is just days away! We hope you are ready and excited for what God has in store for you. Below are several important items to be aware of as you finish packing and finalizing departure plans.
Packing List (water bottle & cell phones)
Click here to access a packing list. As you’re packing, please include a WATER BOTTLE that you can refill throughout the week. AND, cell phones are welcome to be used throughout the week, but please keep them to limited use so you and everyone around you can enjoy every experience that camp has to offer.
Medical Waivers & Payments
Just a friendly reminder that EVERY STUDENT needs to have a current waiver at camp. Leaders, please be sure to bring a completed and notarized waiver for all of your campers. Click here for a blank waiver. Also, please bring any remaining payments (checks payable to Florida District NYI).
Registration / Check-In (1-3pm)
We ask that one Youth Pastor or Leader from each church go to the Cafeteria upon arrival to the campground to check your church in and receive your housing assignments and any other necessary information. Both Waivers and Payments will be collected at Registration / Check-In.
Welcome Party (2-4pm)
Brand New to our FL Camp this year is our Welcome Party! After you drop your stuff off in your cabin/dorm, join the fun in the Field by the Gym. There will be Hotdogs, Sno Cones, Inflatables and More!
Each afternoon you will have an opportunity to choose what to do from a list of Electives. Some of these options include the following: Lake, Pool, Soccer, Dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, Art, Bible Quizzing and several workshops. If you hope to choose Tie Dye as one of your electives, we ask that you please bring a White T-shirt. Sign ups for electives will be Monday before & after Orientation and after Worship.
Convention will take place Wednesday from 1-3 pm in the Auditorium. This year we will be hearing Pastor Ed Leanza’s final report as FL District NYI President along with other reports. We will also be voting on age group representatives, treasurer and a new District NYI President. Most churches will be able to designate 4 students and any church staff members as voting delegates, while larger churches may be able to have more than 4. Churches that are bringing students over for convention on Wednesday are asked to bring a Medical Waiver and $20 for each student so they can participate in Paint Wars and Dinner while on campus. We hope guests can stay through Worship that evening that begins at 6:30 pm.
This year Paint Wars is planned for Wednesday afternoon right after Convention. Everyone is asked to bring a White T-Shirt and White Socks for this Camp Favorite.
