After nearly 5 years on island, we have decided to move on to life’s next adventure. Effective February 22, I will be resigning my day to day position as General Manager of the North Sound Golf Club. It is with mixed emotions, as we have truly loved our Island experience, but we are very excited to embark upon our next adventure.
Current Director of Golf, Erick Fowler will assume the lead role and I will assist the transition process by assuming a consultation role for the next few months to ensure a smooth, seamless transition. So while you won’t see me every day, I will be making periodic visits back to the Club.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at NSGC. It has been my pleasure to work with so many good quality, fun individuals and I am confident I am leaving you all in good hands. Also many thanks to the wonderful members of NSGC, who certainly have added to my enjoyment of this assignment over the last 5 years. And last but certainly not least, I would like to thank the ownership group of the NGSC. Over my 25 year career, I have had the opportunity to work for many different owners, but this is certainly one of the best. They have been so supportive of our operation since they took over the property. They have a long term view of things and I am very bullish on the future of golf here in Cayman, as they look to further develop the quality of golf on the island.
As for our next adventure the only thing currently planned is some travel this spring, spending time at our condo in Eastern Washington and I have plans to play golf 8 days a week to get my handicap back to single digits.
