EUNIC NEWSLETTER
FEBRUARY 2019
Dear colleagues,

Last week the Board of Directors awarded twelve projects with up to EUR 10.000 under the second Cluster Fund call of 2018. EUNIC will look at de-colonisation in South Africa, the future of museums in Brazil, European democracy in Norway and cultural management in Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Greece. Congratulations to all successful cluster teams. The next chance to apply for funding will be in September 2019.

Colleagues in Bolivia have partnered with the local EU delegation to address gender equality through arts and culture. In an interview, EUNIC representative Sabine Hentzsch talks about contradictory tendencies in Bolivia and how civil society organisations are involved in the project.

Enjoy perusing the latest news, and happy February from Brussels!

The project European ‘Houses’ of Culture has begun! For the next two years, EUNIC will be researching, testing and implementing innovative collaboration models and projects between European actors and local stakeholders in countries outside of the EU.

SURVEY OF EUROPEAN COLLABORATION PROJECTS
The project is kicking off with a mapping exercise looking for European collaboration projects, outside and inside the EU, now and in the past. Input from your side is very welcome. If you have managed or attended a European collaboration project previously, do let us know about it! You can fill in our survey about one or more projects or send any information directly to Robert Kieft. Also, do not hesitate to share the survey with any of your partners you think could contribute.
