Rural Directions Christmas Newsletter 2015

Wow it's that time of year again! We hope that 2015 has been filled with great experiences and opportunities for you.

What a busy year it is has been at Rural Directions. It is with excitement that we celebrate our 10th Anniversary this year! We are continuing to develop and evolve within the industry and have developed a huge network across the Primary Sector. We continue to push into new areas of expertise and aim to remain innovative by adapting to new systems and technology.

Particularly, Rural Directions have been busy working behind the scenes in conjunction with a specialist web design and recruitment systems development business to create a new modernised website and system. Our new website presents an accurate reflection of who we are as a business and portrays the personalised care and service that we provide to our clients and job seekers. More importantly, the new website and system has created maximised efficiency for our users, making it easier for applicants to register and apply for jobs.  The new platform allows easy computer, smart phone and tablet access and has greater presence with social media which allows us to reach out to a larger job seeker market than ever.

We have had a large number of diverse roles in our recruitment business this year and have made many successful placements into our valued clients' businesses. Rural Directions Human Resource Consulting services have been through an exciting period of growth. For us this is really exciting to see as more of our clients are recognising the importance of Human Resources within their operations. Consulting areas such as Remuneration Recommendations, Job Design & Analysis, Legal Compliance and Strategic Plans can be difficult to implement as busy employers, so we are pleased to be able to assist our clients in these areas to ensure maximum productivity and performance within their operations.

Rural Directions Business Administration has been kept busy with the needs of clients, especially in the area of budgeting this year. The increased requirements for planning and accountability in the farming sector has seen a growing need for budgeting and reporting to banks and shareholders on a more regular basis. We are pleased to welcome new farmers to our business and have enjoyed helping existing clients with their monthly requirements including efficiencies into their farming operations.

We welcomed three new staff members to our Rural Directions team this year - Lee Andrews and Diana Ketel to our Rural Directions Business Administration team and Gemma Dickie to our Rural Directions Recruitment & HR team. Erin Turner, a familiar Rural Directions face, has left us for maternity leave and we congratulate her on the safe arrival of her son, Joe Turner; exciting times for Erin!

As we value the relationships we maintain with our clients, friends and potential job seekers, we want to thank you for your support this year and for doing business with us.

We wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Christmas break and a happy New Year! We look forward to catching up with you all next year.

Kind Regards,

The Team at Rural Directions
