It has been an exciting time as we recently redesigned our website! We also made a slight change to how we reference our name in writing. ReUSE Minnesota is now Reuse Minnesota. Check us out at! We have been active with our partners on the legislative front, advocating on behalf of HF 1156 Digital Fair Repair Act. We look forward to spring as we begin to dive into planning our fall conference.

Check out our newly designed website

We recently overhauled our website, freshening up our look and making it easier to navigate. We added many useful resources such as reuse guides, a community event calendar and more! Reuse Minnesota members get their own space where they can collaborate and connect.

Special thanks to our staff Emily Barker and Carolyn Wieland for their guidance, and volunteers Annika Bergen (board member), Jennifer Lenart, and Annie Pottorff for helping with the transition.

Seeking MN GreenCorps host sites

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is accepting applications from organizations interested in hosting a Minnesota GreenCorps member for the 2022-2023 program year. Members serve at organizations throughout the state, completing community-focused environmental projects while gaining experience and learning valuable job skills.

Right to Repair bill

Last week, Reuse Minnesota Executive Director, Emily Barker, testified in support of HF 1156 Right to Repair. The bill passed out of the Commerce Finance and Policy committee, and has been referred to the General Register. To follow along on legislative updates, visit our advocacy page.

Member meeting

We hosted a quarterly member meeting last week. Thanks to all our members and guests that joined us for our virtual meeting. We heard legislative updates, recognized new members, walked through our new website, and shared member updates. Save the date for our next meeting. It will be on May 25 in Becker County - more details to come!
