Christmas Travel in a Grateful Karoo
While much of South Africa has its Christmas Beach Goggles on right now, a whole bunch of people have been sending or personally delivering loads of water, comfort packages and fodder to the drought-stricken farms and towns of the Karoo.
You, our Karoo Space Subscribers, have also been doing your bit - and for that we are grateful. Many of you helped us gather R5 000 in Karoo drought relief, which will be handed over to the magnificent Gift of the Givers organisation today. We at Karoo Space, Chris and Julie, humbly thank you. Just imagine what mountains could be moved if every mom & pop shop in SA collected five grand for drought relief! You're talking money-tsunami here.
