EC assesses progress made in CHIC
The CHIC project had its first intermediate review at the European Commission in November 2013. The reviewers assessed the overall progress made within the first 6 months of the project, evaluated the preliminary results and the cohesion within the CHIC consortium. We have now received the official review report and are very pleased to report that the overall result of the review is a very positive one: CHIC is making good progress and is well in line with the work plan. The results reported in the deliverables as well as in the interim project reports are of good quality.

General progress meeting coming soon
The second CHIC general progress meeting will be held in Luton (UK) on the 20th-21st of February 2014. This will be a great opportunity for all partners to hear more about the recent technical achievements and to discuss the future developments of the project. The consortium will devote part of the project meeting also to discuss and implement the reviewers’ comments and suggestions and to prepare for the first official CHIC review taking place in summer 2014.
Reporting on the meeting outcomes will be posted in the next newsletter. For the project partners more information on the meeting logistics can be found on the CHIC intranet.
